![]() ![]() The only real trouble you'll have with Oceiros is getting to him: not only do players have to fend off the Dancer of the Boreal Valley, they'll also have to cross through the Consumed King's Garden. With Oceiros, the Consumed King, that's not really the case. When it comes to the Souls series, hidden bosses usually make for some of the toughest fights available. Just make sure to rest at the nearby bonfire before you take on the Old Demon King - he packs quite the fiery punch. You'll need to fight your way through a few more tombs and a massive underground swamp (complete with giant mutant worm) - even so, it shouldn't take all that long to find the arena. Once you find the wooden bridge, destroy it, then climb down into the Smouldering Lake area. In order to reach the Smouldering Lake in which the Old Demon King resides, you'll need to fight your way to the bonfire just before the High Lord Wolnir arena. The second optional boss fight of Dark Souls III is a bit harder to find than the first. Old Demon King If you happen to die, using the sewer shortcut after the second bonfire will be the quickest way to get back. It's not hard to find - chances are, you'll come across it just by casually exploring the area. To access the boss, you'll need to find the large courtyard near the far end of the Undead Settlement. You can complete the entire game without ever having to fight it - that being said, if you skip the Greatwood fight, you won't be able to forge Boss weapons back at the Firelink Shrine. ![]() ![]() Technically, the Curse-Rotted Greatwood is an optional boss.
